Collection and processing of personal data on our website

 

You can use our online services without revealing your identity. Should we request personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) on our website, e.g. in the context of contact forms or when registering, this is done on a voluntary basis. We use this information exclusively for our own business purposes (such as the shipment of requested materials/information).

For any questions you may have, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. Data marked as mandatory is required in order to be able to process the request. Further information can be provided voluntarily. Data processing in the purpose of contacting us is carried out as per point (a) of Article 6(1) GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data collected while using the contact form will be deleted after your request is completed and after expiry of the fiscal and commercial retention obligations.

We process the personal data with regard to you as an individual to prepare offers and to fulfil the contracts as per point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR. Processing for the purpose of accounting and costing as well as for the fulfilment of legal obligations (for example, commercial and tax law) is based on point (c) of Article 6(1) GDPR. The business relationship exists between us and your company. In case you have contacted one of our customers as the data subject or are in business relations with them, we may have received your data from our client as part of our service agreement with them. We process your personal information in connection with conducting your application procedure and to examine your potential work-related applicability. We process the information you provided for the purpose of a well-informed employment decision based on GDPR Art. 6 §1(b). In addition, employment assessments are stored on the basis of objective, non-discriminatory criteria; if this is permissible on a case-by-case basis, publicly accessible personal data about yourself will also be stored.

The data you provide are required to complete the application process. Without these data we cannot consider your application.

Only if you have given consent will we pass on your personal data to other companies in our group to provide you with further employment options within said group of companies.

Some of your personal data will be passed on to external service providers (e.g. tax consultants, legal advisers). The data will be deleted after completion of the application process and after expiration of any time limit, unless you have given your consent to save your application for further job opportunities. Unsolicited applications will be saved until their revocation, or up to two years, and then deleted.

Geolocation

 

For geolocation, we use a geodatabase. No data will be sent to an external provider. The geodatabase is located on our server and is updated regularly. The query with the available IP address is carried out exclusively on our server and only the country is determined. There are no other data in our geodatabase. The exact location of the website visitor is not determined. The cookies will be deleted when the browser is closed.

We use geolocation to show you the appropriate calibration service in your country. Geolocation is only required and used for the Torque Service area of our website. Our legitimate interest is to determine which specific requirements exist for torque wrenches calibration in your country.

The data processing is based on our interest resulting from the processing purposes pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
