You can use our online services without revealing your identity. Should we request personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) on our website, e.g. in the context of contact forms or when registering, this is done on a voluntary basis. We use this information exclusively for our own business purposes (such as the shipment of requested materials/information).

For any questions you may have, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. Data marked as mandatory is required in order to be able to process the request. Further information can be provided voluntarily. Data processing in the purpose of contacting us is carried out as per point (a) of Article 6(1) GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

We process your personal information in connection with conducting your application procedure and to examine your potential work-related applicability. We process the information you provided for the purpose of a well-informed employment decision based on GDPR Art. 6 §1(b). In addition, employment assessments are stored on the basis of objective, non-discriminatory criteria; if this is permissible on a case-by-case basis, publicly accessible personal data about yourself will also be stored.

The data you provide are required to complete the application process. Without these data we cannot consider your application.

Unsolicited applications will be saved until their revocation, or up to two years, and then deleted.

The Scanblue.Cloud Player includes a telemetry feature that collects usage information. It's important that the Scanblue.Cloud developer team understands how the tools are used so they can be improved.

Data points

The feature collects the following data:

    • Timestamp of invocation
    • Events invoked
    • Three octet IP address used to determine geographical location
    • Operating system and version
    • Browser Version
    • Hashed MAC address: a cryptographically (SHA256) anonymous and unique ID for a machine.
The feature doesn't collect personal data, such as usernames or email addresses. It doesn't scan your data or read your cookies and doesn't extract sensitive data, such as name, email or similar. The data is sent securely to Microsoft servers using Microsoft Azure Application Insights technology, held under restricted access, and published under strict security controls from secure Azure Storage systems. The Scanblue Engineering Team stores the data in the Geo-regions Northern Europe (Dublin, Ireland) and Western Europe (Amsterdam, Netherlands).

Inxmail


This website uses Inxmail to send newsletters. The provider is Inxmail GmbH, Wentzingerstr. 17, 79106 Freiburg, Germany. Conclusion of a contract for order data processing: We have concluded a contract with Inxmail in which we oblige Inxmail to protect the data of our customers and not to pass it on to third parties.

Geolocation

 

For geolocation, we use a geodatabase. No data will be sent to an external provider. The geodatabase is located on our server and is updated regularly. The query with the available IP address is carried out exclusively on our server and only the country is determined. There are no other data in our geodatabase. The exact location of the website visitor is not determined. The cookies will be deleted when the browser is closed.

We use geolocation to show you the appropriate calibration service in your country. Geolocation is only required and used for the Torque Service area of our website. Our legitimate interest is to determine which specific requirements exist for torque wrenches calibration in your country.

The data processing is based on our interest resulting from the processing purposes pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
