Wuppertal. Anyone looking for real torque security is well served with the new Safe-Torque. Once the set torque has been reached, the tool cannot be overtightened, so that excessive torque cannot be applied. Behind this is a well-designed slip-over release mechanism.
The tool has a setting range of 2 to 12 Nm. The setting is very simple: The audible and tactile clicks on reaching the scale values facilitate the safe setting of the desired torque value.
The additional Torque Lock function is particularly cunning. As soon as this function is activated, the tool becomes a standard ratchet without torque function and is thus also usable for applications with angles of rotation and loosening screws becomes risk-free.
The Wera Safe-Torque is suitable for controlled clockwise and counter-clockwise torque operation within the tolerances. It is available individually and in sets.
The two variants A 1 and A 2 differ only in the type of drive: A 1 with a square head drive for sockets, A 2 with a hexagon drive for bits.
